About Me

My name is Carolina Gustafsson and I've been working as a photographer since the midninetees. I started out in the darkrooms of an newspaper in the north of Sweden, Västerbottens Kuriren.

I after that worked as a freelancing pressphotographer for a couple of years until I got the opportunity to work at The Royal Library (National Library of Sweden) and got to see some amazing historical material, work with an extraordinary equiptment and got an understanding for the importance of providing and preserving the cultural heritage that has been created through history.

After six years at the National Library, I felt that I needed to take care of own creativity and photography in other environments, so I left Sweden 2004 and have then lived and worked in Spain and Holland. I'm since 2006 based in the midlands of Ireland but I do jobs all around the country and abroad.
